Moderator Agreement

Moderators and Administrators of this forum agree to abide by the conditions the following, by accepting their positions and posting or acting as a moderator or administrator.

1. You agree to the Membership Agreement.

2. You agree to help ensure that the forum members meet their obligation to keep the Membership Agreement. As such, you should not use the ignore feature.

3. You agree to keep confidential any information you gain as a moderator about any member or about the authors of isocrat.org or about isocrat.org in general, unless you have permission to divulge such information. You will keep such information (including but not limited to e-mail addresses, IP addresses and so on) confidential even if you leave the moderator or administrator team of isocrat.org. PMs sent to moderators may be shared only with other moderators and this may be done in the private moderator forums.

3. When posting on a matter regarding the administration or moderation of the forum, you will make clear which are your personal opinions and which are official Administration and Moderation positions.

4. You must keep an active email address that you regularly check for reports generated by use of our forum. When you receive a report you should deal with it appropriately, according to the Moderator and Membership agreement. With each report, generate a new thread in the Moderator’s section, explaining the report and action taken.

5. You have the ability to delete posts. Moderators may do so in instances of spamming, flooding, or duplication, or major infraction of the member agreement. Each deletion should be recorded in the Moderator Forum.

6. You may edit posts in violation of the Membership Agreement. Make your edits clearly marked and include your user name and reason for the edit.

7. You may move threads, if they should more appropriately be in another section of the forum. A record of a moved thread should be made in a redirect link.

8. If you do not agree to any of these rules, notify the administrator at any time and you will be removed as a moderator. These rules are subject to change at any time.
